yeah...finally after going through numerous interviews and tough competition...finally got the chance to embark on the GIP (Global Immersion Programme) - China, Shanghai.....mi will be flying off to beijing on 2 Jan'08 at 9.30am....then we will be playing there for 4-5 days, playing with snow( yeah its my first time experience wif real snow:) ) b4 we fly to shanghai to meet the rest of the GIP ppl.....
well its a work cum study experience abroad for 22 weeks or rather abt 6 months, hmm...so guess gonna miss a lot of things....esp singapore food and of cos my frens, soulmates and die die buddies:) haiz...dunno y very nwadays mi tend to appreciate daily stuff...(think i took them for granted...) haha like one morning eat carrot cake for breakfast...then thoughts will be like gonna miss carrot cake....haha...then shower halfway realise its indeed veri convenient in singapore to hav electric heater system...at shanghai its gas powered.....but all these differences will bring abt the exciting experience...cos wats the pt of going to another to another country if everything is similar or identical to singapore...:)
well...mi is attached to Givaudan (Shanghai)...its a chemical flavoring and fragrance company:) haha the Givaudan in Singapore is located in Woodlands where i stay lor....:)....hmm haha think mi gonna stuggle a bit wif my chinese in Shanghai.... a bit turn off to see so many chinese words....haha:).....hmm...think mi gotta complete a 14 days of volunteer work in Shanghai oso as part of the terms in the Temasek scholarship...haha wondering wat volunteer work would i be doing....is it some english teaching course??....lol:)
oya mi will oso be suspending my local hp number when i'm in china, so guess the number will be inactive for 6 months....shit sounds like a lot of things to do....:) haha there's so many things to say...but guess this entry is getting rather long....till the next blog then i tok more abt coral(if possible) and of cos mi will be taking a lot of photos in shanghai and uploading them to my blog...yeah...so excited to go play:)
