Well, I'm not too sure how many people will see this post... But think I will just blast everything here.

Today has been the lowest morale in my life... today is my formal observation, and I really prepared it to my best... i have factored in every thing that is possible but still... Teaching is really not easy... it really takes two hands to clap.. so what's the worst case scenario? well think i might have to sacrifice $60,000 for my happiness. Damn, the students... damn it all... how i wish i'm their bloody parents and gonna whack them hard and smash their head down hard until their skull break...

hmm.. its the first post of 2010. Over the past months, Jan and Feb, I somehw get to noe a lot of nice ppl.. didnt noe there are so many nice ppl in this world... it juz make the world nicer:) I received a lot of help from many ppl and many of them are veri significant... so it only there's something I could repay them.. B4 i forget, those who have helped me a long way... Prof Yong, the nicest person you can have, think he will be my role model for the next few years to come, all my NIE classmates... all my NIE seniors..... and of cos all my other NIE colleagues... somehw it makes me feel in place.. haaa... good feeling man:)

So have been planning of what sch to go for my practicuum and future permanent posting... have discussed this wif a few frens and prof cos its a hard decision to make sia... primarily I want to climb as fast as possible up the corporate ladder, so JC is a good choice, but however I love the bond and trust that forms btwn a sec teacher and the students as JC teacher mostly teach and forget the students.. not so much of a bonding due to the lecture and tut style... so got an enlightenment and yes the one tat has the best of the both world would be IP (Integrated Programme) schools, those that skip O lvl and direct to A lvls. Like that I can have a lot of time wif the students as well as no problem climbing the ladder... But 1 glance at the IP schs in SG... I guess only 1 of it I'm interested in.. or maybe juz 2.. the HCI and NJ... hmm.. guess both oso not easy to go in... looks like I hav to start practising some tear sheading and pitiful begging in the meantime to prepare myself to face the P:)

well... nevertheless its still too early to say anything.. let mi enjoy my life first:)

This is the drawing of the character - Nagisa, a female lead character from the anime Clannad:) I finish watching the anime abt 6 months ago but only until recently then hav the urge of takin up my pencil to draw... hmm... it has really been a long time since i last drew... the last time was in shanghai ard june 2008... so this piece would be for 2009 and would be my cover for my file when go to sch for my NIE...:) cheers... Time taken: 6 hours......

Yeah this would be the start... the outline sketch of the head:) haha notice the hair stalk is shaded... the rest remain unshaded... cos too tired to shade the rest so went for a afternoon tea break...lol:)

hmm.... after the tea break i'm more recharged so there goes all my skill.... this would be the completed shading of the head... looks not bad mah....:)

next comes the upper part of the body... of cos would be the rough outline of the body first:) then hav to recharge my batt for my camera cos the batt run out.. if not cant take any more pics...

hmm... then i started to shade the scarf at the back... think i super tired le... reshade this part for quite many times.......

hmm.... finally finish shading the upper part of the body.... hav to go for my dinner makan... too hungry le.... looks quite satisfying... later then giv an overall final touch up.....

back from dinner and for the final stretch of the maraton.... the outline of the skirt.....:)

and YES!!! the skirt is finally shaded.. all job completed.... in time for nap:)

haha these sweets of cos cannot be found in SG:) it came from taiwan:) but highly recommended to eat after meals... otherwise u will find ur appetite going heywire....lol:)

Good and Ex Makan

hmm... haha juz had a good to excellent dinner last nite.... but guess its a bit ex tat its has set the overall second highest record for my dinning history... the highest being at the Line restaurant which cost S$100 plus per person but the Line is the buffet style so still ok... for ala cart the Jumbo Seafood restaurant would be the most ex so far:) haha but the food its simply too cool and super good:)

So we ate our dinner at Jumbo Riverwalk near the clarke quay:)

yeah here's the 1st dish on the table... its some sashami... errm think the full name for it would be the geoduck sashami... its juz taste wonderful... super good and in fact better than all the salmon sasahimi i eaten... nice start of the meal:)

then comes the second dish that i ordered cos i cant eat crabs... so guess hav to order something else to fill my stomach other than beer:) so this would be the scallop dish.. there's a total of 6.. but the other 2 is already in some1 else stomach...lol:) guess the food is too good or they r too hungry... so my hand has to move faster than their mouth next time...lol:) btw this is another of my fav... i juz lov scallops:)

hmm... here's the third dish... it comes in 1 big bowl then its served into 4 servings for us all... of cos its the prawns... hw can we miss out the prawns in a seafood restaurant?...lol:) so this is the drunken prawns... juz by looking at it, sq already in drunken state.. even b4 the prawns were eaten... and yup the soup for the prawns is XO.. taste wonderful and is a good blend:)

hmm... this is actually the 5th dish... the 4th dish as usual my hands r full on the prawns... so no chance to take the 4th dish... anw the 4th and the 5th dish is similar.. which i cant eat oso... the 4th is the black pepper crab... from the feedback of those eating... it taste veri good and oso similarly this 5th dish of the day... chilli crab... haha i get to taste the sauce with the buns... the sauce is way superb... so can roughly imagine hw the crab would taste like......

and so here's the 6th dish but not the last dish yet... this is the crispy baby squid... errm to mi it taste like fried ikan billis.... so not much appetising for mi.... luckily this is the 6th not the first dish... but still the dark thick sauce (nt in the pic) tat accompanies it for dipping makes this baby squid taste alright:)

Then of cos we hav our last dish, fried noodle in seafood gravy. The pic is oso nt taken cos probably i enjoying my Heineken beer till i forgot to take the last pic:) O.. the noodles is oso simply tip top standard... the noodles r cooked juz nice till they r not too soft and yet retain the crispyness... and accompanied by the seafood sauce... it juz too good to be true:)

And so that would end our "memorable" dinner...lol:) and here would be the break down of the meal.. overall its still quite worth it:) Cheers...

Time Flies.... well... it again has been some time since i last blog... taking a look at some of my other frens' blog... them seem super intact:) nth has changed... well.. so mi oso got a bit bored abt blogs... so got a quick refresh bg for my own and removed some of the stuff....

yeah btw this is my free starbucks coffee on the 3rd dec:) haha thx shiqi for the lobang:)

hmm.... next i shall freely blog from now onwards... regarding anything i feel or i saw or i hav been thinking... guess teacher hav to maintain a blog for themselves cos they would be too busy remembering so many things... like the names of the students... class activities and bla bla.. so guess for personal stuff its best blog within here to help mi remember...

so lets start off with something inauspicious...lol:) well several things happened and i oso wondered into my own life.... do i really live tat freely? is there any boundaries or limitations to my own life? wat controls my own life?? so.. after hearing the news regarding a plane explosion in the pudong airport while i was inside the SIA plane in the same airport at the same timing... this well... can only say a flick of luck ba... perhaps my life is not destined to end and god wants mi to suffer more...lol:) then comes the suicide or the accident case tat i happen to witness at the woodlands bus interchange... well not too sure if its suicide or accident... apparently a dead body was covered in white with 5 police cars/vans blocking the victims from public view... guess life is too short... hav to treasure every moment... so regardless of wat... a sad day or happy its still a day... might as well make it a happy day....

hmm... wat else... mi oso went for a super last min plan to go shanghai... probably b4 i start ur permanent job... i want to recollect all my beautiful memories. b4 plunging into hell...lol:) so book a ticket on mon and immediately flew on tues and come back on sat...lol:) cos its a last min thingi... so i manage to secure a super good deal wif SIA.. haha juz keep refreshing the page and the price drop from 1000 plus to only 700... hmm 30% off yeah:) so ate a hell lot in shanghai.. i love the weather man...:)

(above is the pic taken when i went to siling pri to present to the pri students for their sci week.... of cos muz thx to the help of jj and the students... if not it wont be a success..) ... and of cos for those who dunno i signed the MOE teacher agreement contract on the 21st NOV 2009... so officially i'm a teacher... ready to be put into the NIE wok to stir -fry..... wonder would there be any chio bu in NIE?? hopefully there's some... oh haha juz to blog it down for myself to rem in the future... mi attended a church sharing session/activity with a fren of mine... she's quite nice and helpful... and the session is veri entertaining... but guess i wont be gg in the future... cos its too far.....lol:) unless she got car or she accompany mi... else its really a killer to travel so far... guess she's super into the activities so she can take the long hours of travelling...haha:)

hmm.... now wondering shd i go back to canberra sec for the dec meeting??? afterall i wont be in the sch next year... but i'm officially still paid for my salary and is still attached to the sch... well.... guess maybe i go back to take a few more pics with my colleagues:)

well the standard shanghai nite view at the nanjing dong lu... cool view and super cooling weather...

and of cos the dong fang ming zu..... haha its so close to my hotel tat i can view it from my hotel window:) and of cos the hotel is super ex... but is of good quality service... lol 4 star with ppl halping mi to open cab doors and every other door u can see... so cool... the room is super comfortable.. so shiok:)

hmm... this is the wan bang du shi hua yuan... the place tat i cant possibly forget in my life... cos i slept at this condo for more than 6 months.... haha attachment days.. (revisited) the shops hav changed... the bao shop has gone and one of the minmart is oso gone.... but the massage is still there.. and of cos i went for the massage.. needless to say rite?...lol

the back view of my condo.... i actually smuggled in thru the security guards...lol... and went to my block... saw the envelope box... blk 76 #13-01.... haha it still unlocked as usual...lol:)

hmm... this is the ex ex ex dim sum restaurant... its the ding tai feng... but in shanghai... actually its super good... all the on9 reviews i done b4 gg there says its a muz die go place... and indeed its delicious... the dim sum is of top standard... think i spent abt 180RMB ard S$37 for 4 different types of dim sum with 5 pieces in each..... quite cool for my wallet...:)

and of cos my try their mac.... this is the GRILLED mac chicken... not like the SG fried one... so it really tast so much jucier and more shiok flavor.. "black pepper" my favourite,... yeah

then comes the road side dish... its the shou jua bing... cool man... i ordered my usual... its like prata with egg plus baecon plus cheese and with sweet and spicy sauce.... manzz y i feel hungry when i'm typing all these.....

ahh... finally its not food.... its the standard metro... but with everything in the world... not juz clothing... food... tv... appliances... raw meat... wet market and bla bla inside one big place... excellent place to buy all the tibits i need to get back in sg:)

ah juz b4 i took the SIA plane back... i hav this kfc breakfast at the airport... its the pork burger... taste soso... perhaps cos i'm leaving back for sg... so my taste bud some how not functioning..... and yeah tat would be all... next time next year in june its korea cum thailand....:)

hmm.... today pop into woodgrove sec for some N7 science sharing... and to my amazement i saw my sec chem teacher.... time really flies... its already more than 10 years since i last saw him... and he actually transferred from fuchun sec to siling sec.... haha cant imagine a teacher greeting his own teacher in a science conference rite? think he oso super shock to see me... but guess he dun actually quite rem me... lol (which is a normal thing... cos i not super pai kia type in the school... so not so outstanding)... but nevertheless seeing him reminds mi back the old days of hw he taught me chem... and as a chem teacher myself today... i miss his teaching mtds... although its "old" version... not as high tech driven but its veri effective...:) hmm... hopefully i get to see my bio teacher... think she will be even more surprise to see mi teach bio:)

So many things has happened in the month of september... although my most luckiest birthday in life falls in this year at 090909 but juz a day after tat, mi spent 100 bucks on cab fee.... cool rite... hopefully it turns out to be a worthwhile... it could be my last and only chance...:) while then today survive on a cup of milo from 6am all the way till 6pm.... again too coolz.... almost feel like dead zombie.... but it was a fruitful day...:) haiz... and I can feel more problems are approaching my way.... hopefully the great saviour comes and pull me out of all the troubles.......*pray *pray :)

Life is full of miracle... or rather is a miracle itself.... its so unpredictable... many things tat I believe wont change in fact changes... so right now i'm wif MOE as a teacher... wow i can only say my life is full of fun everyday... its so shiok until i feel i'm in a dream.... be it in terms of my pay, my work load or the nature of my work... but of cos most importantly u hav to enjoy wat u doing otherwise even if the pay is good... u wont find ur work meaningful and enjoyable....

So now looking back... i never regretted my choice.... gaining a lot of unique experiences everyday... and learning many fun and interesting and cool stuff everyday:) of cos they may not be related to my field of study in uni but they r still experiences... experiences that r fun and memorable that will stay wif u for the rest of ur life:) so if i would to be offered a job in the chemical industry in the future... chances are its 50 50 chance that i may take up the chemical job offer.... even if it means 5 times my salary now:) cos life is tat weird... the more u immerse urself... the harder it is for u to leave:)

haha right now... this blogger site got problems wif pics upload... so cant hav any pics here... till the next time i will upload some pics:)

haiz.... sometimes... when you yearn tat hw good if exams are over... then u can chiong this game or can shop or watch anime or serials until crazy... but when the day really comes... dunno y its juz happens tat the drive is no longer there... haiz... nowadays think.. i too bored and keep havin a lot of craps going on in my mind:)

haiz... for example.. my buddy ask.. wats the best present to giv?? cos he got a headache trying to think of wat presents to get... and my reply... the best gift to giv... blood.... haha cos tats wat the tv blood advertisements always say... giv blood... its the best gift you can give:) haha but of cos its a joke... dun giv me blood during my bdae ok... but anw... by the time my bdae comes.. think mi would most prob hav graduated and may hav lost touch wif my uni frens:) hopefully tats not the case...

A fren is hard to come by... a close fren is even hard to get... a true fren is priceless....sooo... "Do not walk behind mi...cos I may not lead...also do not walk in front of mi... cos I may not follow... juz walk beside me and be my fren..."

hmm... its the exam period... and reading every1's blog... all complaining abt exam fever... lol:) haha but for mi... when its the exam period... u will get to see the real side of reeve... errm i not refering to the fishmonger side:) but the real reeve who is foc... (full of crap) especially when he study too much and will start toking nonsence and crapping:)

so started a crap tat regards to BGR... wat would u do when ur bf keeps bullying u? and for some reason u dun want to leave him and keeps on absorbing the bullying (which I cannot understand y the gal dun want to leave him... cos she love him too much???... mai lai la.... where got such crap 1... unless the gal loves to get bullied and beaten...lol... if really got such a weird gal... remember to introduce to mi hor....lol:) dun be mistaken,... its not tat I wnat a gf tat loves to be bullied and I can bully her... its I really need to enlighten her hw to help herself in this type of situation... lol (again throwing crap to cover another crap),....

so back to the qn... wat to do if u got bullied by ur bf??? simple... faster marry him... cos once married... u can bully ur bf back... he cant do anything cos he already invested a bomb on the diamond ring... wat to do... lan lan....lol:)

so for the guy if u r stuck in this case.. let mi help u out... dun get married unless u r damn rich... so tat u can afford to throw away the diamond ring to avoid urself being bullied... especially if u hav been bullying ur gf b4 marriage... but however if u r a common average guy like mi who cant afford to throw away the diamond ring... dun wry... to save money on the diamond ring and the marriage here is a few good suggestion... its especially useful in the poor economic days like now....

1) propose to ur gf with an old ring tat u buy from the pasa malam... rem the older it is the better this mtd will work.... and if ur gf looks veri shocked at the old ring... you juz hav to say this sentence..."This is my family heirdom... I beg veri veri veri hard to my grandma... until she finally agree to part with it so tat I can propose to u with this ring....." lol:).... of cos dun laugh when u proposing to make it look real la... in this way u save a huge sum of $$$$$

of cos buy the ring from pasa malam oso muz ensure its super old and best if got some chip off here and there...lol and most importantly... dun buy an old ring tat has another 100 identical replicates of it in the pasa malam.... otherwise u will end up wif a red palm on ur face:) so look for 1 really old one and its the 1 and onli 1 left...lol.... then of cos muz spend some money to package it nicely in a small box... dun complain abt spending on the box... u get to save more compared to buying the dunno how many hundred thousand dollars of diamond ring....lol:)

2)the wedding banquet veri expensive hor... dun wry.. mi got another soln.... search on9 for a second hand wedding banquet... those tat other couples throw in at veri low prices cos they cant make it in the last minute or either those couples tat broke up when the gf realise the stupid bf is using the pasa malam ring trick to propose to her....lol:)

haha then book tat last min second hand wedding banquet... and of cos when ur gf suddenly looks veri puzzled and ask u y u book the banquet so early?? simply use this sentence to win her over... " o... cos the fengshui master say we should marry at this particular day... so our marriage will last more sweet and happy tats y i chose such an early date"..... haha:)

haha so basically u can save a hell lot of $$$$$ leh... good idea hor....

haiz... who says if nothing happen on the 21st of the month, then everything will be safe? haiz... mi juz had a disaster that happened on the 22nd.... apparently... think its a disaster tat I would forever remember... at least for the next few months...grrr....

well... it happened tat I forgot to keep my new lap top's AC adaptor.... and apparently after 5 hours, when I return back to the discussion room.... its gone!!! so I was thinking, who the hell will kapo my AC adaptor (the power cable)... cos u cant do anything wif juz the power cable.....!!!! then for wat u take my cable... left mi wif no power for my lap top and cant do my stuff......!!!!!

so went back today, and check wif the lost and found... apparently no positive news... the CCTV apparently oso failed to capture the culprit.... haiz... so wat to do??? lan lan hav to buy a new AC adaptor... at first tot it would be ard 10 dollars plus, if not at most 20 plus dollars.... and wat the hell it turned out to be ONE HUNDRED AND SIX DOLLARS!!!!!......

arr...looks like mi hav no choice but to eat bread... and to the damn idiot who kapo my power cable..:"dun wry, mi wont curse u de, u wont get any tumor or broken leg or hands.... JUZ WISH tat u can live longer and up to 100 years or even more so that ur things can get kapo by others... and even time to suffer the pain of losing ur most impt stuff!!!! and hope tat u have to eat bread like mi for this 100 years...grrr"

haiz... the worst thing.... despite it cost $106... it still needs about 2 weeks to deliver the new cable to mi!!!!... wa lao think I dun need to use my lappy for 2 weeks le.. sobz:(

I did so hard and read so many journals.... to came up with feasible ideas and designs... then in the end 1 sentence ends it all : "I noe this cannot work... tat cannot work"... so negative sia... never even encourage ur student.... wat the hell... some more set damn high standards... other ppl doing parameters changing and characterisation... mi?? need to design and some more need a break through design... come on lah use ur brain can anot.. if I can come up with a perfect design I will be featured in the journals and taking over ur seat le lah... muz think feasibly mah... mi FYP student leh... of cos my ideas and design cannot be ground breaking... obviously will take ideas and merge to form the best...then muz encourage the student to think further and upgrade or provide directions but in the end dun wan this dun wan tat... say this will fail tat will fail.... and not novel enuf... hmm.... juz happened to pass by sweet talk today... and was amazed to see the blue coral flavor bubble tea:).... was wondering hw would it taste like... and was oso veri sianz from the mango bubble milk tea flavor... so decided to take the risk....

well... in the end the taste is not bad... although a bit unique but still suit my taste...lol:) haha will buy it again if I ever to pass by the causeway point sweet talk again....

haiz... hav an urge to blog... but at a loss of words to type.... think its quite hard to describe wat I'm feeling and thinking at the moment... shd be happy but oso quite sad... but no choice... some things u let go le hav to let go all the way... shdnt still hav feeling tangling to it ma... eer... but anw i think it takes time... not so easy to forget things.. haha first lets celebrate that I survived the dreadful ordeal....tat is having adv rxn and design mid term both on the same day!!!.... wa seriously... its damn stressful... but heng got 2 lucky factors.... 1) the adv rxn lecturer a bit cmi... so tats y he cant set chim qns... then he set standard qns oso set wrongly....wth.... 2) heng the design dun need to memorise much... mostly is concept and application....haha tats my favorite....

okok start the main topic for this blog entry.... if u think u hav encountered the worst lecturer in ur uni life.... read the following to see hw bad can it be.....

1) the lecturer set qns for the mid term oso set wrongly... ask us to calculate something but under-specified the question... like calculate conversion, X but forgot to giv V... so after the quiz... this is his respond... "errm if u all realise... the V is not given... so u cannot calculate the X... therefore juz say the V is not given and cant solve X"..... geez..... esp when after we cracked our brain to think hw the hell to solve.....

2) then another classic case... in the quiz... the value of fraction of smth is given as 0.94%... so my fren in the quiz asked the lecturer... u mean 0.94% is less than 1%??? ...(cos its sounds like its a trick qn... was thinking tat perhaps the lecturer want us to tot tat its 94% instead of 0.94%...) in the end the lecturer himself says..oops actually i meant 94%... but i type wrongly as 0.94%.... geez....

3) then the most ultimate thing comes.... hv u ever in ur uni life...onli hav 20 plus slides to study for EXAM for a particular lecturer...no rite??... he'e ths first... damn slack sia.... everything covered for the mid term quiz...he say the exam wont come out le... so onli left the newest and last set of notes.... which is abt 20 slides and worth 30% in final... the other 70% is from the other co-lecturer.....

4) haiz.. and the best thing is got 1 hour left after the quiz... suppose to teach tat last and onli 30% notes... but he teach the first 3 slides... then he end the lecture... where its onli like 5 mins into the lecture... and throw the remaining to after recess and crash into another co-lecturer time to teach his part.... haiz.... hw slack could it be.... but its ok wif mi... I oso can end lecture early...lol...

5) everytime without fail... he teach his lecture... nobody will understand wat he teaching( this sounds common rite???..) yes its true if the lecturer is teaching some chim chim stuff.... but for him... when he teaches those easy stuff... he oso mess everything up...... all the students get the correct ans... but he get the wrong 1... jia lat....

6) and the remaining r the common stuff tat u can find in cmi lecturers tats all lumped together...like the lecture notes totally cmi.... skip steps ah... chui expanations..... and so on and so forth.... sianz... but heng the module is wat I like... otherwise think its hell man....

ok enuf of complaining...hope a miracle will change him some day:)

arrrr.....its been dunno hw many hours..... busy for the whole weekend.... so many things to do... especially when there FYP keep hanging in my mind... juz like a time bomb...lol:)

have been coding the matlab for the adv rxn tut.... haiz....it if loop and forward loops here and there.... think i used like 10 plus loops.... loop until I almost got lost in the loop..... haha then darren suddenly ask mi abt matlab coding.... and whether is there a manual to folo and whether I can lend him the matlab manual....lol... if there's a manual to folo wat to key in then I wont be lost in the loops:) haha so I told him only got F1 button and trial and error experience.... no manual de....lol

well there's oso another issue in my mind... but guess no point toking it now.... cos gotta go slp... if not tmr cant wake up early for the rxn lecture.... so sianz of sch.... where r all my buddies and soulmates and close frens???? lets go chiong.... and yeah saw the newspaper... the thai disco clubbing sounds rox!!!! who interested to accompany mi go???? haha for the first time in dunno hw many donkey years, finally my time table looks a bit more humane:) haha where lessons typically end ard 3pm and its like onli 2.5 study weeks....haaaaaa.... but got 1 super mafan thingi....the FYP!!! haiz tats y i'm now stuck in this library trying to find journals abt this topic.... aiyo trying to create 3D of that something when there's onli 2D possible in this world.... sounds challenging... but luckily its in my interest.... haha hopefully can find some breakthrough then dun nid to work and can earn big bucks by juz selling my discovery:)

Haiz although the time table is super shiok but its a bit crazy oso.... especially on odd weeks... where i go sch juz to attend 1 hour tutorial and spent 3 hours on the travelling to sch....geez:) haiz...tats 1 of the disadvantage sia.... haiz another would be miss out on my dear frens and coral... juz saw her today again... haiz somehw feels tat she's left alone....but wat to do?... think its still early in the semester, think by the mid of the semester things will change a bit... perhaps then it will be me then tat will be left alone...lol:)

Past Memories Part 1- My first Step in Shanghai....

these were precious memories and it will forever be part of it in my life time happiest days...

times flies when we have to say goodbye to each other... when 1 by 1 of my dear housemates leaves...

so we have a few recall sessions of our first day in shanghai.... was a great moment... was thinking back at tat time mi was no close to cz, evon and zz.. but nw they r nw my closest frens.... and its really a nice and sweet experience...

1000 cheers to block 76, 1301 unit ppl!!!!

so here's some pics of the first day in shanghai, and in our apartment....

yeah, this is cm, mi, evon and chu zhen.....

haha cos we choose our room based on the smallest card ... so each pair will draw 2 cards at random, then cz and evon drew one ace hearts and one 2 2 spade...omg tats super small... then jas and zz drew one ace and one 3 diamond... tats oso like 4 points onli.... mi and cm is the last pair to draw... and geez... its so difficult to draw less than 3 points!!!!

so cm drew a card and its 3 hearts... and mi could onli have ace or joker( joker is 0 points) and the probability of tat happening is practically...1%.... so haiz in the end i drew a 4 hearts which is oso very small ...but still not small enuf...

in the end no choice...mi and cm gotta take the smallest bedroom.... but we still enjoy our days...lol... small room oso got its advantage de...lol... easier to clean...lol:)

yes... firstly... my IA final report has finally completed... yes!!! ... no more headaches and formatting and editing... can finally play at ease... juz tat there's 1 more stupid oral exam which i may give it a miss? haha like tat then i will fail my exchange program...lol... haiz think juz go for the sake of going..show show face... cant do too many wrong things le....

hmm.... recently oso cant really figure wat am i doing... or rather to be more exact.. wat am i thinking... haiz.. there r so many things tat are obviously wrong.. but i still go ahead and do... (haha i not refering to skipping lessons.... tat i think is still valid... as in y bother to go to sch so early where u noe u will fall aslp in lecture.. might as well spend the time at home and make good use of it to do the reports..lol)....

but haiz... things tat r wrong but I'm still doing... dunno wat will happen to mi in the end... while thing tat r right I heck care... geez think I muz be mad.... perhaps its no choice... the envt shapes me into the condition tat I need to go to the evil side... trying to get into the light but somehw the dark is too tempting... not easy to get out... will suffer a great loss....

well... and there's some other things tat I noe i need to do... but I never do.... keep bo chap impt things that r around mi... haiz think this is the hidden side of GIP... not onli u get to experience a lot of things but as well exposed to other negative thinkings...

My volunteer work in Shanghai....

well.... mi gotta do volunteer work every alternate sat.... the other alternate sat mi gotta go fudan for lessons... so all my sat are burnt...lol.... so far went there 3 times le...

well this is a requirement for the LEaRN scholarship... but it never specify hw many hrs... so we begin to source for the volunteer work ourselves.... found 1 veri "backward" pri sch... so we gave english lessons for the kids there... and its really on our own... 2-3 volunteers to a class....

haha mi hav to speak proper english then... oso hav to crack my brain on hw to write the respective chinese words out for the kids to learn english...

its a veri backward sch... back to my old memories... using chalk oard and chalks to write... haha really reminds mi of the past... when the teacher always throw chalks at mi....:)

yeah this occured last weekend.... we visited this qi bao lao jie... its juz a small area with 2 main streets and many sub divisions.... something like bugis street... but there's a lot of unique food and things to buy...juz tat there's oso too much ppl... hav to squeeze here and there...can hardly breath...but overall its a cool and nice place...

Xi'an Memories....:)

ok here's again tons of pics taken during the 5 day trip to xi'an on which the first and last day is spent on the train:) the train ride alone to xi'an takes abt 14 hrs from shanghai...well the train back takes 20hrs!!! haha the diff is 1 is te kuai (super fast) train... well the other is juz kuai onli... wonder if its the te man(super slow) train...think can return 1 week later:)

We went on this xi'an trip during our long 7days CNY break:) and trust mi...its the best trip i have went so far... even much more fun than the beijing trip... the whole trip cost us 1600RMB on juz the tickets and the accomodation... if include our own expenses and spending think its abt 2000RMB in total...:)

ok enuf said... let the pics do the talkin:)
P.S. heng can manage to find my SD card...if not all these wonderful memories will be gone....

the next day... found this juz outside the restaurant that we suppose to hav our breakfast...

its the ostrich...hey!! lay mi an egg... i want to see big eggs... too bad the big dinousaur egg already extinct,...so b4 u two oso go extinct into other ppl stomach..rem to giv mi some egg for sourvenier:)

ok after we alight from the bus...the us suppose to take us to the cable car station...where we take the cable car to a certain height b4 we begin climbing...cos some parts r closed...and if will take too long to start climbing from the bottom...but in total we still hav to climb for 3-4 hours....

ok this pic is taken after we got down from the cable and began climbing for some time le.... its still got a long way...damn shack sia... so we took our first pit stop....

scenary from the first pit stop..the climb is not tat easy... the path is veri narrow... and barriers are juz below ur waist level....so if u fall...think tats the end.... and the path and steps are slipper...all covered wif ice/snow... and the extreme cold weather.... so it became the most rewarding experience after u conquered this hua shan:)

yeah we begin to move off.... we choose to scale to the highest summit... got nan feng, bei feng and dong feng.... of which the highest is the nan feng...and tats where we r going....!!!!

creally climb our vomit blood...even really went on all 4 limbs to climb.... my legs reallly cant take it sia.... really pull until every single strand in my muscle almost snap sia....singapore vertical marathon... tats nothing sia... climb the beijing great wall of china...tats oso nothing... this is then the real killer!!!!

Yeah...think my company Givaudan is super best... today is half dae off for every1... plus another continuopus 7 days off from 6th to 12th... haha dun think its normal for all companies to hav 1 long shot of break here.... to my knowledge... ET's company unfortunately do not have... so in order to take from 6th to 12th... they nid to work on last sat and last sun.... cos normally is onli from 6th to 10th...:)

hmm... ok today I distributed out the ba gua to all my colleagues and boss... haha dun be surprised that quite a numer of ppl never eaten or dun even noe it exsisted here... haha helping singapore to promote the mei zhen xiang ba gua.... its indeed really nice.... cos apparently quite heng to hav 1 mei zhen xiang here in shanghai... and its located at 1 of the most crowded shopping centre... Raffles City !!! yeah its really the name in English imprinted as the name of the whole big mall here in sh.....

well some of my collegues ask mi whether this (the ba gua) is from i brought over from singapore... then of cos i gave a lost look at her... then replied.. if bring over from singapore think it already super smelly le.... smell already can faint le... let alone eat it:) well but mi is blessed wif the help from bingz and her dad to bring pineapple tart over... well here confirm dun hav pineapple tart de....haha thx bingz...

ok lets juz start off with watever i can rem and pop out in my mind... well firstly today is a sunday... so as usual mi juz woke up not long ago...at around 2.30 pm ba... cos ytd nite we have a cooking session cum dai di and poker session till 6.30am !!!!!!!!.... well for the details... the 2 household ppl gather together at my apartment for the cooking...haha cos apparently our apartment has a much more larger kitchen.... it juz lack of many cooking utensils... cos our apartment is the newer building... unlike theirs where ben stayed b4 on the previous GIP so got leave many cooking things behind... so they (dashun, yu xin, longhui, qing xi, shiqi and hui lin) juz bought more plates, pepper, pan and other stuff over... well its an excellent cooking time... the food came out veri nice... P.S. qing xi is a veri good cook... errm and well we of cos hav drinking sessions.. beer and so on...P.S. sry...ppl mi gotta collect house funds from u all le... the house fund already running negative....:) well the dinner was ready at ard 9pm plus...cos we all got many things to purchase and so on... well after dinner we all play dai di... poker... red indian... and 21.... haha mi won a lot:) ... too much until the banker (yu xin) cant take it.... haha:) think by luck too many times le :).... ok.... haha but the bet was small.... it range from 10cent yuan (equals 2cent singapore) to 1 yuan (20cent singapore)... in the end yu xin lost abt 30 yuan.... think enough for 2 meals here.... then cos no money to play so much... we change to water.... think i hav a lot of fate wif water.... cos if u wan to follow (i,e, in poker folo to the next card... the price is 1/4 cup)... so the further u play the more cups of water is at stake.... haha we played a few rounds.... in the end think mi, yu xin and dashun drank a lot... wif mi the most... at abt 7and 1/4 cup of water..... haha think my body confirm nw veri healthy sia....

ok nw quickly move on to the next thing.... oya tats is mi will be going on tour during the cny break.. from 6th to 12th (dun nid work....haha sry ppl in singapore.... think there onli a few days off ba:)... so mi is going to xi'an.... errm ppl going are mi, cm, dashun, yu xin, longhui and qing xi.... the others are not going... some returning singapore for cny... well the trip cost mi 1600 yuan.... approx 4 day tour.... by train... then go xi an is visit the bing ma yong...( the qing emperor army tomb.... plus experience the rural ppl culture of cny celerations and climb the cold and high huang shan (yellow mountain).... so mi will be away next weekend.... in advance wish eileen happy bdae (5th) and belated bdae to kel (1st feb) and zihua (15th feb) and qing xi who's bdae is today (3rd feb).... ok lets carry on...

next is ET-001... errm recently its most of our pay dae... so for ET.. he's in semb corp in shanghai together with cz... so well on tat dae they each received 2 x 3000 RMB ... 2 months pay in cash.... so well tat dae...near fang gong time... cz was still finishing her stuff b4 leaving home.... and ET as usual got nth to do.. so already pack finish....then cz saw ET there waiting for her.. a bit stress.... so she ask him to go first dun nid to wait for her.... well ET then reply... i carrying so much cash.. later leave alone got kidnaped or rob hw??? so its better to leave together.... dotz...cz juz stare at him and think wat the hell.. you are already 23 years old le... and some more a guy.. so scared for wat... then some more as if I (cz) join along will be more safer.... thinking ( come' on lah.. i oso carrying 6000RMB.... think its more safe meh to leave together.... juz dun tell any1 then walk as normal can already mah....) haiz... so dunno y he so scared sia.... so scared then giv the money to mi lor... i can go xi'an and buy more things...geez....ok lets move on to the other stuff.... enuf of the ET....

well.. then comes the last weekend.... its another havoc weekend.... we went clubbing till near 1am.... haha tat place looks like china black in singapore.... so we grank a few alcoholic stuff... and play a few standard games like cai quan...and other weird orientation games tat we played in sch... haha heng got go for orientation in the past..so those games already familiar le... then dun nid to lose and drink so much... but i prefer to drink more.... and oya the the dance floor too small le.... so no chance to giv it a dance.... hmm... then after we finish the clubbing... we went to ktv.... we sang till 6am in the morning !!!! so as expected last week sunday again wake up as late as today....:)

oya think mi is running out of time oso.. nw gotta get ready to meet them up for message... wa i'm super looking forward to the body message sia... already went 2 times le.... nw its the third.... with the other 2 times were all different place.. today 1 is at the circle area in our condo.... hope its good... my back aching sia.... nid some good message.... hahah:)

oya there's still my company to blog... and the snow..... cos took many snow pics.... build snow man....( next time then upload...) then still got the place we went to eat!!! especially the singapore crusine restaurant (specially onli sell singapore food) in shanghai.... tats heaven man.... will fill in the details.... and update on every1 else stuff.... and... haha my own eating habit.... apparently my room is pilled up wif a hell lot of tibits.... mi is a hard core tibits eater.... oya oso some things i left out... like the ktv... i sing until lost voice for 3-4 days.... then nw still on the way to recover my voice.. and errm... still got quite a number of other stuff.... till next blog....i will be back.....:)

Memorable Events In Shanghai.........

haha this entry is like supposed to be posted 2 to 3 weeks ago.... but think onli nw then got the free time to do it... well so guess like could onli rem the more unique and extra-ordinary things that we did here in shanghai....

for the start... the first thing tat came to my mind is the restaurant Pitch Black.... let me show you all some pics of this restaurant first.....

haha dun be mistaken....its not some pub or clubbing place.... its juz a normal restaurant tat serves normal food.... haha but as you all can see from the menu... the cheapest meal available already cost 168 RMB... which is abt $34....

well wats so special abt here... firstly as the name of the restaurant suggested, Pitch Black... the envt here is totally dark... wat u saw in all these pics are the 1st storey where it is partially dark, so basically, u can choose to dine in partially darkness or total darknes... the total darkness is at the 2nd floor... and of cos dun expect mi to bring in my cam to the 2nd floor... even have to change to certain attire to dine on the second floor, and things tat reflect light or emit light is not allowed on the 2nd floor....

so when i mean totally blackness... its right to the 100% meaning of the word totally... cos even if u place ur thumb right in front of ur eyeball, u still cant see a single color on the skin on ur thumb other than the total blackness.... so nw's the interesting part.... all ur food is served in darkness with thr deesert unknown!! so u get to try and guess wat u r eaating for the dessert... of cos u get to choose ur meal... for the 168 yuan... it comes wif a main dish... think chicken bits or lamb chop in salad... (you shd be able to guess y its chop... cos dun expect mi to eat meat wif all the bones when i cant even see anything....lol)... then plus a salad of ur choice and a soup of ur choice, mineral water and the secret dessert:)..... oya...the most impt thing...the highlight.... u r served by blind ppl !!!!

well nw abt my experience... haha we were led into the room in a row.... with 1 person hand on the other front person shoulder... then its like hav to go through a few thick curtains... then its totally dark... so basically I hav to feel for my fork and knife.... of cos u noe who's sitting beside u and opposite of u.... so everything hav to rely on feeling.... oya... if u juz keep ur eyes open... you will be juz seeing darkness... it feels like u r really blind and well guess tats strainous to the eyes... so after a well mi juz shut my eyes... then mi wll start to fall aslp....lol... oya side track..(this restaurant onli operates at 2 different timing... think we enter at the 8.30pm timing... cos we reach there at ard 7 plus... but still hav to wait b4 they can start everything...)...

well... the dishes tasted ok.. not bad.. haha even if its chao ta..you oso cant see... prob tat juz use some spices to mask over the smell:).... well.... initially its difficult for mi to navigate my fork and knife wif the meat on the plate.... so eating speed drops... but its ok they will wait for u to finish b4 serving the next dish... haha the chicken chop is ok... but when the salad comes... its disaster.... cos the cabbage all in diff shape and sizes... hw you gonna feel wats the size... unlike the chop..at least u can cut to ur mouth size... so well the cabbage and the salad sauce was all over my mouth...lol:) haha but who cares,,,nobody can see... think tats the most ugly eating style I would ever have... then left the bread crumbs/bits in the salad.. well if you gonna use ur fork to poke.. guess would take years..so aiya heck care.. juz use my best sensing tool.... my bare hands:)....

haha the soup of cos no prob... usually will use spoon... but spoon so slow and scare later spill onto my shirt or jeans hw?... so its the barbarian style again.. (haha nobody noes whether u using spoon or the barbarian way...) so i juz take the whole bowl... then juz drink from the bowl.... haha in the end of cos i'm the first the finish the soup... but shhh... juz pretend still drinkin...waiting for those more culture ppl using spoon....lol:) then it comes the dessert... the secret dessert.... haha dun wry its not some barbecued snail or watever.... we tried to figure out wats the dessert... it turns out to be some fruit pie/cake... well not bad sia.... rather tasty....:)

ok so of cos there's a feeling after all this unique enjoyment... you really get to understand the tough life tat the blind ppl are going through... even a simple meal is oso so difficult....hmm... so guess we r rather fortunate that we can see this beautiful world....haha think this entry unknowingly has turn out to be too long le... dun hav enuf place to blog other events:)... till the next article.... mi gonna blog next abt my work first...lol:)

well...perhaps by now some of you all may hav guessed who's ET-001... haha he's not veri hard to guess...rather prominent in cbe and who's on GIP now:).... well he's quite happening here in shanghai... although i'm not staying wif him in the same apartment...(phew... but can still get news abt him...cos he's too popular le... and my apartment mate, cz juz nice, she oso same company as him....)...

so the story goes like this.... well... juz a brief update... for those who dunno.... ET-001 does not stay wif any of us.... he stay wif his MAE fren of which the rest of the apartment are all MAE students... so he onli noe his MAE fren, all the other MAE fren he doesnt noe...in total there's 5 MAE's.... well a bit sad for him... but happy for myself...lol:)

so lets start off wif the first thing... first of all the most impact and lasting joke abt him is regarding his mac notebook.... well as some of u all may noe... he juz bought a mac book not too long ago back in singapore and so he brought it wif him over here to sh... so he's using it in his work place in the company... well but the way he using it is over too extreme.... first of all in the office... he veri scared tat other ppl will dirty his notebook... so every time a person gets near his notebook... he will try to act very concern and cautious...rather panic tat any single particle or dust may drop onto his mac screen.... wa biang....he think his notebook make of diamond ar...... then he will use tissue paper..(opened up) to lay a layer over his mouse... so as to protect it... and well if its some intelligent mac mouse, its reasonable..can understand... but its juz some jia ba lan brand.... so everydae he will take some tissue paper to cover his mouse and so can imagine him scrolling and clicking on the tissue paper...over cautious sia....

then comes the food... come on lah... food here is veri safe de... dun understand y so scared will kena stomachache... if kena then kena la... not as if will die lik dat... haiz... so the first few days here in sh... he dun dare to eat outside food... those on the street 1... so if u dun dare to eat..then its ur dai ji.... then dun bother other ppl la... where got ppl eatin halfway then he suddenly pop a qn... " you not scared if kena diahrea meh"... geez... think every1 so scared lik u meh.... haiz... well next comes another classic issue.... haiz... throw our guys face sia.... well this event happens at his company dinner... (rem? got 1 of my apartment mate, cz who so suey to kena the same company as him? ) well so she was oso there wif ET-001 at their company annual dinner....so they were all sat at a round table wif many other big boss.... as so as per normal... the big bosses will cheers wif the new interns the red wine... well aparently... ET-001 scared to drink the red wine... saying he will get drunk or cannot take the taste.... come on lah... juz red wine onli... will die meh... its not any hard liquor lor... well so wat he does when the boss cheers wif him... he juz pretend to take a sip... then store in his mouth... dun dare to gulp down tat small sip....dotz man.... well even the gals drank finish the whole cup of red wine... haiz... some more he even ask cz whether want to change the wine to coke... wa kao.... the whole table every1 drinking wine lah... where got so off de... drink wat coke sia... so in the end cz bo chap him and continue her red wine..then ET juz lan lan store tat sip in his mouth... geez....

well another update abt him is saying tat he's very touchy.... cos he staying wif a whole grp of MAE guys then.. the nearby apartment oso got a grp of GIP gals staying together... so wat happen is... ET juz got to noe them onli for a few days...then he become super touchy... go and get super close to the gals... touch here and there... the hands and wat ever la.... omg... think the gals in cbe will oso agree to tat or may hav even witness or heard abt it... lik issues back in singapore happening to some cbe gals....

then in his office... he super damn slacker... ppl so busy yet he free until nothing to do... every dae on the com juz watch guan lan gao shou.. (basketball anime/show)... sucks sia.. then watch you tube anime.... well tats fine... but not until the extreme tat even when the boss walk pass he juz continue watchin the anime... as though nth happen like dat... wtf... want ppl to condemn NTU students again meh...haiz... at least see boss come muz wayang a bit ma... no wonder ppl say his EQ damn low sia....

oya another update from his apartment mate... they all oso throw ET-001 aside de... lik when they eat... ET dun join them... dunno y he dun wan join them oso... and oso the rest oso gather in a room to chit chat... then left ET alone... he juz stay in his own room watch anime... geez sia... then whenever his apartment mates wanna share smth...like purchasing some common stuff... lik perhaps washing powder or pizza or anyhing... he juz dun wan to join in de... well...tats his life back in his apartment...(haha mi too lazy to type the 001... so juz type ET le)....

ok think this article getting a bit long le.... mi oso gotta slp le...nw already 1am le ...tmr still nid to wake up early to work lor... mi not ET...who so free can watch anime in office de.... then some more too shag le.. when to clubbing yest and KTV till 6am... so slpt rather little... then guess today muz try to slp more... oya here in shanghai is snowing... and its reported tat china is nw facing the biggest snow disaster in a decade.... well aparently its so big tat in suzhou... you can build an ice man out from the snow.. and there's jam and flight delay everywhere in beijing... haha the snow is fun..but it too many days then it gets a bit sianz... cos too cold le.... oya mi travelling durin the cny break....will update more abt things happening and ET in the next few articles...gtg zZzzZZ..:)

well it has been abt 3 weeks since i left singapore... and there's many things happening here.. too many things to cover le..so think i juz cover wat i could still remember... ok first lets start off with the weather... the most horrific thing in china... well at first, i love the coldness... cos singapore is juz simply an oven... too hot le..but nw then i treasure this heat that is gone... well in beijing...its 0 to 5 degree celcius...even when u tok oso got smoke come out de.... it juz shows hw cold the weather is...even the birds, dogs r damn fat... so was wondering hw could such a fat bird still able to fly.... oso the air here is veri dry...so dry until ur skin can start to peel off... so then of cos u nid to apply moisturiser....lol..... but mi a bit lazy to apply so sometimes mi never apply then juz slp le...

ok next on the food in sh... in general the food here is a bit more oily, more sweet.... but the food here is indeed really really veri tasty... and shd be quite safe...cos so far i haven eaten bao ji wan... or hav lao sai...:) well.... for beijing... we spurge a lot on food... typically abt 15o yuan per meal... abt 30 sing.... but the food is really power... one of the best restaurant is the quan ju de... where its speciality is duck food.... so we ordered quite a no of duck dishes... got beijing roast duck...tats veri veri delicious... it sliced into thin pieces then we wrap the thing up in a thin mian pi together wif sweet sauce and cucumber and so on... its heavenly man... then the chef oso sliced the whole duck in front of out at our table then placed all the sliced meat and togehter wif the left over bones...well think expecting us oso to eat the bones...and well i tried... the bones really is cool... it has all the spices on it... juz simply amazing... then after the meal... they oso present us wif certificates...lol... its the certificate like we hav eaten the number dunno hw many millionth and thousandth duck.... so each duck comes wif a number identity....lol.... ok then we oso tried many road side food... the bing tang hu lu.... the red red circle thing the several of it stick onto a wooden stick... well tat 1 at first sight looks tasty... so many of us bought it...but after 1 bite.. it tastes weird..so for mi...i will never buy it again..lol... and of cos we saw centipides and many other funny thing there for food.... well.... of cos there's many other lighter food... like you tiao and tao hua... all taste excellent... and oso we bought too many mini cream puffs... cos we dunno hw much is yi jing... 1 jing... so we ordered 1 jing of cream puffs...well the puffs r excellent... but its juz too much...over whelming le.... then there's oso many other good food tat we tried out... as for mi... i like spicy food...but sad to say the spicy food in beijing is not spicy at all....:) so personally i miss spicy food and of cos my bandito and hello panda!!!! oya the mac here opens 24 hrs oso... and its all the branches!!!! amazing man... considering that onli few years ago china allow mac to enter its market and nw everywhere i go can see mac... and all are 24hrs... oya there pork burger in china....haha haven really try 1 yet....:)

ok enuf of food...next move on to a weird thing tat we all did in beijing.... cos after food entry mi will automatically think of this event...haha:) well cos we onli tour beijing for 5 days so we stay in a hostel... then we dun wanna dirty the toilet...cos its all 8 of us staying in a room.... wif double deck beds... so wat we do when we wanna bomb is.... we will look ard beijing when we tour to mark out those posh hotels... esp those 5 star hotel... then we will revisit that area specially to bomb there b4 returning to our hostel....lol:) so every 2 days hav to bomb, so we hav to keep looking out for new hotel...cos canot keep returning back to the same hotel....later the ppl there will recognise us sia...:)

hmm.... think this entry quite long le... think for the tour and sites tat we visit plus other interesting things mi will post it under part 2... as for another special highlight and update on the ET-001 (guess u all shd noe who he is.....) mi will post it on another entry..cos his story is too much le... can hav an entry on its own...lol

GIP - Shanghai Here I Come !!!!!

yeah...finally after going through numerous interviews and tough competition...finally got the chance to embark on the GIP (Global Immersion Programme) - China, Shanghai.....mi will be flying off to beijing on 2 Jan'08 at 9.30am....then we will be playing there for 4-5 days, playing with snow( yeah its my first time experience wif real snow:) ) b4 we fly to shanghai to meet the rest of the GIP ppl.....

well its a work cum study experience abroad for 22 weeks or rather abt 6 months, hmm...so guess gonna miss a lot of things....esp singapore food and of cos my frens, soulmates and die die buddies:) haiz...dunno y very nwadays mi tend to appreciate daily stuff...(think i took them for granted...) haha like one morning eat carrot cake for breakfast...then thoughts will be like gonna miss carrot cake....haha...then shower halfway realise its indeed veri convenient in singapore to hav electric heater system...at shanghai its gas powered.....but all these differences will bring abt the exciting experience...cos wats the pt of going to another to another country if everything is similar or identical to singapore...:)

well...mi is attached to Givaudan (Shanghai)...its a chemical flavoring and fragrance company:) haha the Givaudan in Singapore is located in Woodlands where i stay lor....:)....hmm haha think mi gonna stuggle a bit wif my chinese in Shanghai.... a bit turn off to see so many chinese words....haha:).....hmm...think mi gotta complete a 14 days of volunteer work in Shanghai oso as part of the terms in the Temasek scholarship...haha wondering wat volunteer work would i be doing....is it some english teaching course??....lol:)

oya mi will oso be suspending my local hp number when i'm in china, so guess the number will be inactive for 6 months....shit sounds like a lot of things to do....:) haha there's so many things to say...but guess this entry is getting rather long....till the next blog then i tok more abt coral(if possible) and of cos mi will be taking a lot of photos in shanghai and uploading them to my blog...yeah...so excited to go play:)

finally after 2 months or izzit 3 months?? mi finally hav my mp3 player....a hardcore music lover like mi has been suffering for these 3 months w/o any music.... and the pain is nw over...and haha the earphones are back hanging over my neck again..... and this time this mp3 is ultimately slim....its the latest model of the ipod nano family....mi bought it for $348 which comes wif...of cos the player itself wif 8GB, a charger, protective screen cover, silicon soft cover:) and oya i bought it at SITEX:) finally it can accompany mi for my GIP days in shanghai:)...the sound quality is superb man:)

well....a few days mi hav a tok cork session wif my buddy, and nidless to say, its abt guys tok.... so in the middle of all the crap... mi suddenly realised smth.... tat actually gals are very hard to please....errm not as its difficult, but there's juz no logical explanation to everything.... well let mi illustrate this.....

suppose ur gf starts to cough...and u hav juz noticed tat her cough is a bit serious.... shd u (a)go to her and ask her if she's ok and offer to accompany her to see the doc? or (b)relax one corner and wait till her cough gets more serious then u bring her to see the doc???...... well at first look, obviously option (a) is the better choice.... well guess wats the respond tat the gal might giv when u choose option(a)....

guy: dear, u ok? u look a bit pale and has been coughing rather badly.... u wanna see a doc?
gal: "grrr".... y u always so jin zhang over small things....relax its juz a small cough...y worry over a small matter? and u always disturb and force mi to do wat i dun lov to do...and bla bla....( so she will begin to bring up all the past unhappy events and will start to complain.......)....
in the end she insisted tat she will self-medicate and dun nid to see the doc....but u wry abt her health and futhermore wats more impt than health??? then u will feel very heartache to see her coughing but even if u nicely ask her to see the doc...she will still insist on not seeing...and may even push the blame to u, saying u are reacting too much over a small thing..... well see the poor guy gets blamed for being concern.......

never imagined my turn will come when i'm condemed by my frens.... yeah cheers...:) its a new record for mi....lol... by i still believe wat i do is correct... there's absolutely nothing wrong abt it... well guess i can try to illustrate this scenario using 5 frens, A, B, C, D and E. Well... suppose you are A(guy), you have 2 female frens, B and C, you are interested in both gals but knowinging u could only choose 1 so u choose B, then u start to show ur concern to B, pay more attention to B and devote out more time to B, but while all these are happening, u realise that ur fren D(guy) in the dark has been secretly interested in B for a long time, juz that this fren D has taken no actions as yet... and you and D are very very close frens, so when fren D noes tat u are wooing B, D gives up and gives u all the blessings.... and u can see tat ur fren D is very sad.... so then u carry on the wooing of B and fren D has no choice but to "giv up", however after some time u and B had a quarel because of fren C, so the tension btwn u and B got rougher and eventually broke up...... and following after some time u are seen together with fren C, (but seen together meaning you are juz seen more often ard fren C, but u have no intention of wooing C), so ur fren D upon knowing this, he still does not blame you for making him lose out on the opportunity of B and for all his sad days.... but fren E which is oso ur another close and oso a close fren of D does not see this.... fren E keeps telling D tat you are a "bastard" saying that u "snatch" away fren D's opportunity and some more giv up on the gal B and go for C.... so sort of trying to damage the very good relationship btwn u and D....

however from E's perspective/view pt... E's view is correct.... hw can u(fren A) took away other ppl opportunity and some more never cherish and break up....and worst seen with fren C.....

but from ur viewpoint.... there's this quarrel and no choice a breakup is imminent(unavoidable), and although the breakup is due to fren C and misunderstanding, but u really hav no intention to woo C after the break up.... juz suay ur path and C's path keep crossing....

so u sort of feel tat u dui bu qi fren D, but ur tat good fren, fren E keep psycho fren D that u r a condemn person.... and u r oso very close to fren E oso.... so since this fren E is oso a very close fren of urs...is his/her comment (all those condemn stuff) is really true and does it really reflects abt u???

so wat shd A do??
Option1. bo chap fren C onli? (to prevent further condemn? but u and C still nid to work together often...).... Option2. dun bo chap the innocent fren C and fuck care ur good fren E's "comments".... Option3. isolate urself from C and de-fren E as well.... Option4... go and kill urself(presumely u are really the bastard...).....

aiyo... dunno wat i'm doing this few days... hav been doing the wrong things at the wrong time.... think my personality start to be kena condemn by others le... better wake up before i appear in the condemn list....

-CH3010 hw...(this is worst... this stupid module nid to use everything tat we hav learnt from year1 to year3 currently.... and when i mean everything... its really everything.... all the thermo knowledge... and all the chem rxn kinetics... all the programming stuff... cos nid to code ur mini project sia... damn... still got this mini project.... btw back to the main thing everyweek got presentation on tut qns...and every grp will kena 1 qn.... AND the qn not easy lor... nid to apply all ur previous knowledge...damn sianz.....)

-CH3001 assignment..... walao another assignment going to be due... shit lar... some more this module the TA mark so fierce de.... and the assignment is oso crazy 1....think its gonna be veri difficult...tats y the prof say can work in grps of 2.... idiot... where got so much time....

yeah manage to squeeze in 10 mins b4 lesson start to blog....lol.... errm dunno y this week everything so rush sia... got the unit ops assignment to finish and its damn tough.... then oso b4 this mi hav to come sch early to help my biao jie's fren's boss buy notebook... its the fugitsu notebook...veri the nice.... but sacrifice my sleep for the notebook... haiz tot my biao jie's fren is some chiobu but haiz... ok lah her looks decent... but is too old for mi le... she like 5-6 years older than mi... but her voice in the hp sounds rather sweet.... errm ok back to the main point... tmr got interview for the GIP thigi.... haiz the ppl no brain 1 sia... pick the interview timing in the middle of my lab sessions, then some more the venue so far.... geez man... oya mi has been living without music for the past 3 days le... life is damn tough without music.... then some more today a lot of ppl skip lecture... think left mi this poor soul hanging in school... no choice ya... got elective today, so cant skip the whole dae... ok think mi onli left 1 minute plus to go for my lecture, heng it juz downstair... mi nw at CITS...lol ... ok hope tonite can slp more than 4 hours.... damn tired....

super moodylise again.... guess its my complicated family problem, y juz cant my grandma dies.... dun be mistaken, my grandma loves mi a lot, but juz tat to prevent disaster (which already has a lot of disaster ongoing), she has to die, if not every now and then aku family will be in a havoc.... so after careful analysis, i still wish that my grandma would die asap.... guess i will make tat as my coming birthday wish, hope it comes true.... dun be mistaken tat i'm a cruel person, but if you are in my shoes, i strongly guarantee and believe that u will make the same decision as me de.... haiz... y am i borned into such a complicated family....

haiz.... morale very low.... has been the lowest since sch started.... have been thinking whether wat i'm doing is right anot... everytime mi does this thing, mi will feel happy initially but sad eventually.... so wat makes a decision a happy decision? a decision tat will benefit the majority but will bring a downfall to urself or is it a decision tat benefits urself but leaves the majority alone?

so if u will me, would you choose a path tat will benefit urself and neglects others or a path tat is self-sacrifising but brings joy to the majority? haiz so till this moment and all along... me has been taking this self-sacrifising path.... should there be a halt to this? should i change my path at this point of time?

so i tried to drown myself to forget all these but me not enough money to buy so many beer to drown myself so no choice can onli do it with root beer.... but drink so many root beer le still dun get drunk... hw?.... nvm got the whole weekend to drink finish all my root beer...

btw... my msn nick will hav different modes, mode1,2,3.... mode1 is quiet and low profile in progress... mode2 is the standard mode u see mi in sch.... mode3 is the havoc and vulgar mode.... in addition theres modeS which means sad mode.... find it a bit weird tat mi is having all these crap thingi rite? well mi is a complicated person from the start.... haiz juz let mi die... y still nid to giv mi 4 more years to live? y cant straight away take all my remaining 4 years of lifespan away?....

hmm...... for those who has been downloading animes, please becareful on wat u are downloading, think it would be better to check your anime against the list provided by the AVPAS, Anti Video Piracy Association Singapore, to see whether the anime u are downloading is licensed anot, if it is, better stop now.... cos the AVPAS together wif another company the ODEX are tracking those ppl who are downloading licenced anime regardless of when u download, wat platform you are using to download or which ISP you are using.... so wat happens if you happens to get caught... well the fines would be abt $10,000 per article and/or a 5 year jail term, so if you hav downloaded bleach and Black Cat, then it will be $20,000 for you regardless of hw many episodes you have downloaded for each.... well this is true not play play one or not a scare to frighten you all... as below are the attached scanned registered mail that has been sent to my home and was to be fined $10,000.... well so becareful wif wat you all are downloading.....(Appendix C is the evidence tat they had on ur illegal downloads with the date, time, platform, anime, the episodes, ISP tat u hav used for the offence)....btw... there are NO warning given or any warning letters issued... Appendix is the list of licenced anime... too many pages to scanned le... so the list is exactly the same ast the one given at the AVPAS web page at http://www.avpas.com.sg/AVPAS_Authorized.html

Global Immersion Programme (GIP)

hmm... after giving several thoughts think mi hav decided to apply for the upcoming AY2007-2008 sem2 Global Immersion Programme (GIP).... guess it will be beneficial to my future career and oso will giv mi more exciting experience and challenges and oso can widen my knowledge.... some more stats hav shown that GIP graduates earn much more and has a higher chance of employment... so y not giv it a try....... hmm... heard from victor that GIP china is offering several chem company like Sulzer, Givaduan, Emerson and Shering Plough.... so guess its not tat bad after all... and heng that the report is to be written in english... phew... if it is to be written in chinese think i confirm can visit the yellow river and jump right into it:) hmm... so who's interested to pei mi go GIP... well actually still got other GIP like GIP(India), GIP(Vietnam) and GIP(France)... but aku dunno french... go there sure mati:) ok think the closing date for the application is 17th August... hmm so still got time to ponder a bit and gather some info.... oya if any1 of u happen to be in any GIP nw can drop mi some valuable info? thanks:)

yeah today so happy:) aku finally found back my lost talent... mi hav not been doing it for many years le... think is around 10 years le... in the past aku was very pro at this... heng i never lost this skill:) in fact a lot of my frens, even my closest frens do not noe of my this talent... oso dunno y of a sudden hav this idea of trying out my this talent:)

haha take a look at the picture below (click to enlarge)... its not really completed... mi haven include the symbol, and its actually hand drawn by mi!!! (cant believe it rite??)... every single curve, single shading and every single line is hand drawn by mi:) haha took mi 4 hours to complete this drawing... still left the logo... to draw this not easy sia... draw until almost my hand gonna break... most dificult part is the hair... y cant gals hav simpler hair? so difficult to draw... took mi 3 attempts to erase and redraw the hair part:)

so guess when mi completed the logo then will upload the whole entire picture... u all can hav the soft copy if u all wan:) haha intend to use my drawing for my file design when sch begins... yeah:) cheers!

hmm... mi hav finished watching another anime series, Fate Stay Night... well.... its an excellent anime and mi will oso strongly recommend you all to watch... dun worry its not a very long anime... mi 1 day can watch finish le:), btw its of a romance cum magic anime... well.... immediately after finish watching this anime, aku had many different feelings and thinkings.... at the very first... mi feel very sad... really damn sad tat the 2 of them cant be together... haiz... after which mi oso ponder about my this lonewolf thingi.... should i remove my this LW status, and start to do wat i should be doing??? haiz... if mi really is to remove my LW status, of cos tat will be great for mi:) but... wat can i do after i removed the LW status?? so wouldnt it then be better for mi to remain as LW so i wouldnt hav to think so much.... though its true tat being a lonewolf would make me more happier where mi would not hav to worry and think of so many problems... but without a coral, life would oso be less cheerful from the another point of view....

haiz.. mi already miss an opportunity once... should i miss it again?? a lot of my close frens oso started or rather long ago had began to advise mi to start my move... but mi juz cant move.... my legs kena glued to the floor... haiz... so hard to explain.... well... its not an easy thing for mi ya... mi feel so powerless... but well... guess its better to think of this some time later... nw my head is getting veri big and headache le...

yeah... finally mi can return to my normal lifestyle.... hav been living on a hardcore gamer life these few days... haha so nw finally finish my xbox360 game: Ghost Recon2 - Advanced Warfighter:) yeah its really an excellent game... be it in terms of graphics or bgmusic or game play or the storyline.. all are simply 5 out of 5 stars rated... really had a real good and fun time these few days... oso jio along a few frens to play wif mi... we enjoyed every minute and they oso say the games rocks man:) next time got any excellent game muz recommend mi ya:) All are welcome to my house to play wif mi:) yeah:)

hmm... haha this is the 21st published blog entry on the 21st of the month... sound a bit too coincidence ya? haha think my 21st curse is gone or perhaps its building up till the august the 21st when tat dae is her birthdae and the worst thing will all unleash on mi again?? hmm...

hmm.. yeah mi juz managed to chiong finish a serial drama... tittled sword stained with royal blood... well for those fans of jin yong... u all may hav heard of this title.. well generally its an excellent drama wif lots of dramatic fightings:) ah ha.... think mi oso gonna start on an anime tittled fate stay night... think this is one of the few popular anime out there... and its my fren who introduced mi to this anime.... haha but mi haven start to watch this anime yet... too tired of chionging so many stuff... still got many other important things to do.... guess when i'm a bit more free then go and watch.... btw here are some of the pics of the drama and the anime... enjoy:)

Lonewolfz's Grandma comin.... Disastrous....

omg.... this time is gonna be a headache for mi.... the days tat lies ahead will be very rough sia... well think from this coming sat onwards, my grandma is gonna hav a permanent stay at my house... well its not tat aku dun like my grandma... its juz tat of a sudden to hav an extra person moving ard in the house will make mi feel rather awkward or weird:) haiz... to make thing worst... aku grandma is the most arrogant and oso a damn bias person u can ever find on earth todae.... hw i wish she's not staying wif us :( .... but guess it cant be help sia... my family tree of politics is damn complicated oso... and so aku will juz hav to make the best out of the worst case scenario... and guess me will resort to the theory of the animal game...:) .... where the elephant eat the tiger and the tiger eat the cat and then the cat eat the mouse and finally the mouse will topple the elephant... yeah... so i'm the mouse... and my grandma is the elephant:) wat lies in between will be my parents:) ... haha the good thing is since i'm the zhang sun (eldest grandson in terms of ranking)... and since my grandma is damn bias... so she will dote her zhang sun.... so mi will not be so restricted by my parents and will hav greater freedom....but the prob lies wif all my crafty gu gus... got 5 of them sia... they all try to create prob for my family sia... haiz... then my grandma oso dun quite lik my dad..:( haiz... then there are so many other probs btwn my dad and the elephant.... haiz... but in the long run... although there are some inconvenience, the mouse will still hav the net gain:) yeah... cheers:)

well.... its another fruitful and adventerous tuesday tat aku had yesterday.... so many things had happened during my volunteer work at SCS.... hmm... let mi see... hw should i begin.... ok.... yesterday think onli 2 out of the 5 volunteers turn up... the 2 inclusive of myself.... guess the other 3 volunteers all go fly kite le... oso yesterday veri windy meh? y they all go fly kite together?... leaving onli the 2 poor souls at SCS... haiz... but nevertheless the kidsread programme scheduled every tues had to begin... and so yesterday was my more experienced partner Jennifer's turn to lead for the day... this coming tues will be my turn to think and organise...haiz... and so even wif an experienced senior volunteer wif mi, things still go super heywire... and really and seriously muz expect the unexpected... and so yesterday story session was about some colorful blouses, and different colors associated wif it... the aim actually was to introduce the colors to them and familarise the children with it.... but apparently the children are not very interested wif the story...haiz pity my partner... and so the children keep running about... some banging their hands on the table... others run and jump about... some even snatch our volunteer's materials and started disintergrating them.... geez... if onli there's 1 children... of cos such things wont happen.... but there's 15+ over children and onli 2 pairs of volunteer's hands... hw to manage such a chaos? all these is still ok... the worst occurs when the reading part is over and we proceed to the activities tat Jennifer had planned... initially we prepared many photocopies of a picture of a blouse without any colors on it... and the original idea was to let the children cut the color construction papers and glue them on the blank blouse picture to decorate it... and so we were thinking is this feasible? wat if the children mishandle the scissors and end up injuring themselves... so we scrap the idea and change it to crayons instead... so nw the children juz hav to color the blouse wif the crayons.... think its safe? initially mi oso tot is safe enuf... but when the event actually implemented... a lot of unexpected things begin to unfold...

and so... it took 10 mins for the 2 of us to get the children sit down on a chair to start coloring... geez man... when i manage to get 1 rooted to the chair... another 1 stood up and ran around the room.... geez... so its damn hard to even start an activity sia.... but nevertheless after many attempts...cant rem hw many le... the children finally sat down... although still got 1 or 2 still running around, but heck care lah... the volunteer oso human leh... will run out of breath de lor... and so we chop chop start the activity cos a lot of time already wasted on the settling down part... then when they started drawing or rather coloring the picture... another disaster happens sia... the children fight among themselves for the crayons... alamak there are like 5 boxes of crayons, each wif lik 25 crayons in it... cant they choose another color to color first?... y muz all chiong at 1 crayon... and so the peacekeeper volunteers like myself hav to step in to tok crap and smoke some story to let them settle down... and when some children are abt to finish the coloring others are yet even started on a single color sia... and when those tat hav finished had nth to do... they started to throw crayons all around... errm they dun throw 1 by 1... their simply grab a bunch of crayons, stood on the chair and throw them around, worst is tat other children begin to folo this trend and started throwing... and so.... we hav colorful fireworks flying all around in the room... any1 interested to view this colorful fireworks? its a bit dangerous though... :)

and there was a time when mi was guiding them along wif the coloring... mi saw a rather mischevious kid.... sry ah his name has to be kept confidential... but anyways... he lik other children oso started to color the collar of the blouse... but he was a bit naughty... after he finish coloring the collar he started disturbing other children... well he started to use the crayon to draw the neh neh... the nipples... bra and some more saying it out loud... making all the gals sitting at the same table shouting here and there... geez man... to think he's onli 5 years old... then he started saying story lik... the gal... "pointing to the blouse" cut off the gu gu bird of a guy and paste it on her sleeve and so he start to draw the gu gu bird on the sleeve....lol:) and there again all the children will start to scream... walao this makes my eardrum gonna burst sia... anyway all the children there are 4-6 years old.... and so wat can i do?? never mind lor... juz let the kid entertain mi a while cos mi already tiredz out entertaining them.... then he started another crap.... saying if he writes a person's name together with a ghost drawing and then tearing the paper right across the part where the person's name is written, the ghost will come and find them at nite... and so this boy started writing the names of his frens and then tore the paper which he drew all the neh neh and everything... and so when the other children saw tat.. all started writing each other's name and tearing the paper apart... and there goes another paperworks in the sky... pieces of paper ended up everywhere... geez man...

haha guess this entry is super long... still got so many funny thing but is too much to enter all in here... but mi really had an eye-opener and a lots of fun there... so guess next time then i write more abt the activity tat mi gonna organise...definetly wont be anymore crayons... guess the best idea will be origami...its much more safer.. yeah:)

must be thinking wat the title of this blog entry is talking abt rite?? hmm... actually mi was oso surprised to saw this in my blog:) so basically when i open my blog to see see, i discover some1 had actually posted a comment in the blog entry "The Recipe" and so mi was surprised and curious to see wat the comment is... and to my surprise again, the comment is of non-english... hmm... so i was wondering... o... there's actually a "special" fren reading my blog.... hmm... so it took mi a while to figure out wat language was this... and its portuguese i think.... haha guess tat portuguese fren oso interested in making cake:)... o... btw... he provided the link to his blog.... his blog was explaning on how to make a t-shirt!! and tats exactly wat the title of this blog entry means... and so mi hav posted the link to his blog under "frens link" in this blog.... guess its rather relevant for those organising FOC and any other camps coming up round the corner or u all can use it to personalise ur own t-shirts ya... sounds cool rite:)....

haha...hope the portuguese fren can understand english... errm guess he would nid a singaporean fren rather... cos the posts are not exactly in english... some are in singlish:) well... mi oso hav tried to translate the comments in portuguese into english and here in the next paragraph is wat it supposed to mean.....( u can view the comments urself and try to decipher it if you know portuguese language...lol:)

well... let aku show u all a few pictures first.... and yeah the bread and the cake is ME made de (cant believe it rite??)... ya right from the basic ingredients like flour and eggs and mixing and the dough and baking and till the final output:) haha the other 2 sets are eileen's and bingz's de... the hands in the photo are oso theirs:) haha all my other frens were surprised when they saw this!! and yeah they commented the bread tasted delicious...humm...they cant taste the chessecake yet... cos it nids to be frozen in the frezer for 5 hours first...

haha is the cheese cake and the bread nice??? haha and below are the pics mi taken after the cheese cake has being kept in the freezer for 5-6 hours... cos muz freeze first if not later the chocolate inside melt then cannot cut properly:)
